Growing up playing competitive soccer I was very active and constantly pushed myself.  After soccer I stayed active by working out at the gym and running.  When I had my second child I realized I needed to do something to get back into shape so I started running again.  While that was a good start I just was not getting the results I was looking for.  Along comes Crossfit….

I started Crossfit in March of 2009.  Starting on the black pullup band and doing two pushups at a time on my knees I talked myself out of quitting after each workout for the first month.  Coming from an athletic background  good form has come easy to me so I made that my focus instead of trying to race the clock.  Six months into Crossfit I was a completely different person.  My next big challenge was tackling my diet.  In February 2011 I started Paleo and that is where I really started feeling and seeing results.

Now that I am teaching the womens’ class at Next Generation I get to be a part of others’ success.  I love seeing members go from being intimidated of getting started to being self-confident and determined to take on any challenge thrown their way.  I am here to help in any way I can.
