Change of plan:
1. All Open WOD's will be posted every Wednesday night for the Thursday workout of the day.
2. There will be no Judge's provided within the classes on Thursdays. We will be performing this as a WOD for all members. If you would like to be Judged on a Thursday, you will need to set that up with a Judge willing to come in and do that on their own time. Coaches will not be expected to Judge during their classes.
3. Saturday at 9am will be a different WOD for all gym members. Saturdays at 10am will be dedicated to the Open WOD, with a guarantee of a Judge.
Strength/Skill: Foam roll/Lacrosse ball/Stretching
Proceed through the sequence below completing as many reps as possible in 17 minutes of:
40 Burpees
75 pound Snatch, 30 reps
30 Burpees
135 pound Snatch, 30 reps
20 Burpees
165 pound Snatch, 30 reps
10 burpees
210 pound Snatch, as many reps as possible

Can somebody judge me on this tonight at 6pm?
Posted by: Bradpd | March 07, 2013 at 06:27 AM
Brad, I can judge you tonight at 6:00. There would be a small chance that I would not be available because I am on call, but most likely it won't be a problem.

Marcy, thanks so much!! I understand if you get called away but I appreciate it.

Reps 100, couldn't get the 75# snatch. Congrats to 530 am class. You girls rule. And I believe Brad K got a new 1RM Snatch....awesome.

I needed a day off this morning. Excited to do this workout on Saturday for the Open!

Ok, well this was kind of a fiasco. I thought I hit a new 1-RM but then Dubbs pointed out that I had the 33 lb bar... Uh, so maybe IQ test should be the 13.0 portion of the Open? Anyway, so I guess I scaled the whole WOD down 12 LBS.
In the end I got 109 reps at the scaled weights.
On the upside I got 9 Snatches at 123 LBS which is only 2 LBS less than my previous 1 RM.
So... uh mixed feelings...

150 reps. Tried for 4 minutes to get the 100 snatch but couldn't do it! Geez!! Great workout- thanks Dubbs and Johnny for the pointers.

105 as rx'd
140 is my 1RM so I was quite pleased to get 135lbs 5 times today. No repped my first 3 reps. This WOD really forces you to get down low. REALLY helped me out with my snatch form. Burpees I missed a few reps because I missed the ring while jumping up.
Overall, this workout was a blast!
Would someone be able to judge me on Sunday? I am out of town all day Saturday. Is there a list of judges that we are able to contact or something?
I am really looking forward to seeing how everyone does on this one! Great WOD!!!

108 RX'd. I really need to learn how to squat snatch. Really would have helped on the 135#.

Rx'd 150 reps
Didn't get a chance to attempt the 100lb during the WOD but attempted after and failed.
