Strength/Skill: Overhead Squats or GHD Situps

WOD: CrossFit Games Open 13.2

Complete as many rounds and reps as possible in 10 minutes of:
5 Shoulder to overhead, 115/75
10 Deadlift, 115/75
15 Box jump, 24"/20"

Well I felt pretty sick to my stomach as I was printing off copies of the 13.2 WOD last night, given the fact that my 1RM for cleans and push press is 75#. I came in today and scaled to 65# and did 130, Eric gave me some tips to practice my jerk split for Saturday and all I can promise is to bring my heart and soul saturday and give it my best, goal is 30 saturday!

Big pat on the back to Stephanie, Romney, Ashley and Molly for kicking it this morning. Farzie and Evan did awesome as well!

150 reps rx'd. The hardest part for me was the shoulder to overhead. I gave myself the challenge before the Open started that I would attempt the WODs as written regardless. Even if that meant 1 rep was all I could do. I'm so proud of the heart and soul that is in our gym. We never say quit.

Carey - I pat you for those 10/12 strict pull ups you did this morning.

201 reps Rx'd. Did last night after it was announced cause I'm leaving town today.

194 Rx'd. What a great WOD!! I came in cold and did the competition WOD with Coach Mark. I did not know if I would be able to press 75# as I had only ever done 63#. Did five warm ups and knew I was good to go. I took two water breaks which hurt my reps but I was thirsty! Cotton mouthed the whole time! Mark has given me crap about it, so he challenged me to come in on Sunday and do it again. Hmmm...I've got a 10 mile run Saturday morning so I'll see how I feel. Good luck with this one..personally, I loved this WOD. It is now one of my favorites!

13.2 modified (25# sumo dead lift, 20# push press, 16" box jumps) - 180 reps.

My back locked up about midway thru. Cool WOD

OHS 3x5 58#
Scaled WOD to 63# for 3 rounds then had to drop weight to 53# to finish last 2 rounds, and 16" step ups. 148 total reps.
