Strength/Skill: Front Squats, 3x1 @ 90% 1RM

WOD:

In teams of two, complete the following for time:

75 Handstand push-ups

Every minute on the minute, perform 20 Double-unders each.

Fierce weekend at the "Fittest in OK" competition.  Everyone did great!  Out of ten NextGen competitors, six of them (BradPD, Dylan, Drew, Jon, Leah and Mark) competed for the first time!  Great job, everyone!  Pics will come soon, once we can collect them all.

9:32 scaled 1 ab mat with Molly. Thank goodness Miss Molly can do the double unders because towards the end she was doing everything while I was simply trying to get 20 DU's within the minute.

Worked up to 78 pounds this a.m., not a max but heavy enough.

Modified today's WOD to a solo mission of 75 blue band pull-ups with 30 single unders every minute on the minute. Mission completed in 11:36. Callous ripped on my right hand on rep 74. Ouchy.

WOW...this one kicked my butt! I am not great at du's but I didn't expect to have as much trouble as I did. Anyway, as a reward for being gone for two months, Jorge got to pair up with me! We got it done in 15:00. I modified with KB pushups. Ugh....sorry Jorge!
