Strength/Skill: 3 x 10 Hang Cleans

WOD: "Death by Pullups"

With a continuously running clock do one pull-up the first minute, two pull-ups the second minute, three pull-ups the third minute... continuing as long as you are able.

Use as many sets each minute as needed.  Post number of rounds completed to comments.

8 rounds modified with strict pull ups on green band. Stopped when I had to start kipping.

Wow John! Awesome job with 17! I thought Brad Knull was kicking it with 15 + this morning- so great job!!

13 + 8 with purple band through round 8 then blue band the rest of the way.

I also wanted to point out the tender crest of my buttocks in the picture on the right (I am the handsome devil on the far left of the picture).
For all of you new crossfitters please don't be discouraged by the perfection that you are seeing in these pictures. Dubbs, Clark, and myself have been working for years of perfect form on the squats, dead lifts, lunges, duck walks, asian squats, snatches, hang cleans, and more. It has taken many hours of practice to achieve such synchronization. Thanks Eric for capturing this magical moment on camera!

Skipped Hang Cleans to work on Chase's Overhead Squat technique.

DBPU WOD: 15 rounds flat.

3x10 hang cleans: 135#. Completely smoked my grip.

WOD: 15-15 = 135 reps. Really disappointed - the cleans didn't help, but regardless I need to get more consistent at the gym.
