WOD:

Tabata "Bottom to Bottom" Squat
Run 1 mile

Clock starts for run on rising from last squat.

The Tabata Bottom to Bottom Squat is a Tabata Squat but each rep begins at the bottom and ends at the bottom. The turn around at the top is immediate - no pause. The ten-second rest for each interval is also held at the bottom of the squat as opposed to the top. Interestingly, this squat, in contrast to the "normal" Tabata squat, motivates full hip extension.

11 Tabata squats, 9:23 mile (accidentally ran to 2nd rock). It's amazing how much that Tabata slows down the mile!

So for those of u who think you're safe because you signed up for the Battle Over Red Lands on our whiteboard....YOU ARE NOT! You have to sign up online! There are only 2 spots left for Rx'd men, and 19 left for scaled men. Better hurry up and claim your spot if u want one!

15 Tabata and 11:02 run or should I rephrase that to "jog" couldn't quite find my legs or stride today.

I'm the nut who goes to the 11am on Wednesday's...yep, there's no 11am on Wednesday's! I did it at home though! 11 lowest tabata and 9:53 mile
