PR by two minutes, but let my head get in the way of a better performance. Someday Fran won't intimidate me into submission so much.

Previous PR was 3:54. Goal today was sub-3:45.

All sets unbroken. Pacing for sets 21 and 9 were right on, but too much rest time between sets of 15. Would have easily hit my goal otherwise.

Three minute rest, then;

"Death by Ring Pushups" (With a continuously running clock do one rep the first minute, two reps the second minute, three reps the third minute…… continuing as long as you are able.)

All reps were strict with no thigh touch to ground. Made it up to 13 strict reps on the 13th minute.

Someone stick a fork in me, I'm done.

I have a restraining order against Fran...

WOD: 9:19 (and pissed)

Food for thought... DO NOT go to Vegas for four days, drink more than your body can tolerate for three days straight, eat three BIG meals a day, and then attempt Fran for the first CrossFit workout after getting back. I'm just saying...

Eric said before the WOD, "this workout will show you how much balls you have." Instead of showing the WOD how much I had, Fran decided to kick me in the balls and give me a 9:19 time. Awesome!

I thought about writing a Fran limerick but decided against it. Instead I did her rx'd for the first time. Take that Fran!

Finally did thrusters in a Fran workout. Modified 75lb but still pleased. Looking forward to tomorrow!

This is a 3 second PR and heat or no heat, I'll always take a PR on Fran.

My apologies to the 6PM class for not joining in on the pushup fun following Fran. I developed a nasty case of "the itis" after that WOD. (for a definition of what exactly "the itis" is, see me sometime in person and I'll define it then)For the record, a cold shower following a WOD like this one is particularly helpful for remembering who you are and where you parked your car.
