6:00 am class was awesome! While all the guys were doing their own thing, Steph and I got after it and flipped the Warrior tire back and forth.

Then: today's WOD as rx'd 22:01. Not as good as I wanted, since I have accomplished a 15+ round Cindy before. I think I was slowed down because I was in AWE of Johnny Bunn! I'm pretty sure he was on his 3rd round before I finished my first! His 13:00 time was...EPIC, to say the least. Great job Johnny!

I paid Marcy to say those things about me. Totally worth the investment!

Sign up for the Orphan Run!!! 3-2-1...GO! :)

The race will be Friday evening, June 1st and start at Stone Canyon Elementary (161st St. & 76th St.) in Owasso. The 1-Mile Fun Run ($10) will start at 6:30 and the 5K ($25) will begin at 7:00.

Please go to the website (www.orphanrun.blogspot.com) and preregister. That will ensure the 5K runners a t-shirt for the day of the race and save them time. Those preregistered can pick up their packets early on Wed. and Thurs. (May 30 and 31st) from 5-7pm at Crossfit Primus (7770 N. Owasso Expressway, Suite 150).

Please plan on sticking around after the race for food and family-friendly entertainment. Throw in your lawn chairs, a blanket and your cooler and stay and listen to the band Kirkland Field perform. There will be food and drinks available for purchase as well. It should be a great evening! All the proceeds will be benefiting the orphans at Calo Me Lare in Lira, Uganda.

Only beat me by 3:56 today Chad. I consider that a huge win.

WOD @ Ute Crossfit in Salt Lake City:

50-40-30-20-10 reps of ball slams @ 20# (with the heavy sand-filled balls that don't bounce). Between each round of ball slams do one round of "Cindy":

RX'd= 21:24 I think this was only my second or third WOD with RX'd pullups.

Marcy, If it makes you feel any better I think I was on round 5 when Chad finished!! Geez!!'

I'm not Chad but I guess I'll take it! Great job in Chicago Chad. It takes a lot of guts to get out there in front of everyone watching like that.
