***Hi everyone, hope you all had a safe holiday!  Just to catch everyone up, we are making a few positive changes at NGCF.  
1.  For the next week, we will not be posting the WOD on the blog.  Just show up and have some fun.
2.  We will be scaling back a bit on the "as RX'D" and focusing on other, more important things.
3.  We will be trying a new approach to the hour-long class.  Group warmup. skill work, shorter, more intense WOD's and group cooldowns.  With this new format, I need everyone to show up as close to the hour as possible.
4.  Effective immediately, we will no longer be offering 10-visit Punch Cards.  Anyone who currently has an active punch card will, of course, be able to finish it out.  By June 30th.
5.  Effective immediately due to lack of interest, we will no longer be offering Sunday classes.
6.  I need everyone to roll with this.  I know that we have all gotten used to the way things are, but all of these changes are being made to improve you as athletes and us as trainers.

Next Generation CrossFit wishes to express a heartfelt "Thank You!" to all the US men and women who serve or have served our great nation as well as to the families of those who've lost loved ones.
Memorial Day is a United States federal holiday observed on the last Monday of May (May 25 in 2009). Formerly known as Decoration Day, it commemorates U.S. men and women who died while in the military service. First enacted to honor Union soldiers of the American Civil War, it was expanded after World War I to include American casualties of any war or military action. E

Hey everyone!  We're back in one piece and fired up!  I know many of you are just dying to try one of the WOD's from this weekend, so here you go:

CF SW Regional Qualifiers WOD #2:

50 Chest-to-bar pullups (chest MUST touch the bar on EVERY rep)
50 Burpees with hand clap above head and full hip extension.  On concrete.
For time, preferably in the pouring rain.

For those who are concerned with not having the chance to do this exactly as prescribed, don't worry.  I'll be standing by with my water hose to spray you in the face and tell you if any of your reps count.
HaHa!  GREAT WOD!!!  See you soon!
PS If anyone has any pictures of this weekend, PLEASE put them on a disk (preferred) or email them to me right away so I can put them up on the site.
